1948 - Born in Oldenburg - North West Germany - 


1958 - Immigrated to the USA - Tuxedo Park, New York


1968 - Move to California - Santa Barbara - Hollywood - traveled West Coast - cross country Route 66 - Colorado - New York - Boston - back to California


1978 - Travel to Asia - Hawaii - Seoul - Hong Kong - Bangkok - Captured in Cambodia - back to Hollywood - ABC Television - back to Asia - Japan - Philippines


1988 - Bangkok - A3 CompuPrint (Patpong) - Bangkok Post column (Macintosh) - Meeting with the King of Thailand - a lot of travel in and out of Asia - Nepal - Singapore - Malaysia


1998 - Man is born in Bangkok - move to the beach in Thailand - Banchang, Rayong - Sattahip, Chonburi - travel back to USA for business - Saint Pete Beach, Florida - and then back to Thailand.


2005 - Brought Man to USA - Fresno, California and Calais, Maine - back to Thailand in 2008 


2011 moved to Seattle, Washington - brought Man back to the USA - traveled West coast with Man from Los Angeles to Seattle - worked in Seattle & Portland - bought a bicycle to start bicycling - with camera equipment for photography of Seattle - participated in first Google+ Photo Walk in Seattle Pike Place - 


2013 finished job in Seattle and moved back to Thailand with my bicycle and my cameras - traveled in Northern Thailand first - Chiang Rai - Mai Sai (Golden Triangle) - Chiang Mai - Lamphun - Sukhothai - Lop Buri - Pimai - Buriram - and across to Cambodia from there - crossing the Thailand-Cambodia border to Banteay Chhmar and Poipet by bicycle many times - exploring the Angkor Temples of Siem Reap by bicycle - crossing back to Thailand at the same border town I crossed with Vietnamese forces in 1980. During this period I also conducted a number of Photo Tours of Thailand and Cambodia.


2017 - Returned to Germany - bicycle touring along the North Sea Coast - Oldenburg to Emden - Bad Zwischenahn - Hohenkirchen - Pilsum - Bremen - Cologne - Rhine River - flew from Bangkok and returned to Bangkok.


2018 - Exploring mostly the temples in the Siem Reap area of Cambodia, but also making numerous trips back across the border to Thailand. 


March of 2019 I crossed the border from Cambodia to Laos in the 4,000 Islands area of the Mekong River. Two weeks later the borders were closed and I started riding my bicycle north along the Mekong River on Route 13. 


2022 - Still Stuck in Laos -
